Dana Salkowsky is an experienced business professional, classroom instructor and coach.

Currently, Dana serves as Assistant Professor of Communication with SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY where she has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 2004. She launched a consulting practice in 2010 and provides coaching support in the areas of interview preparation, presentation skills and business communication for multi-lingual professionals.

Dana recently returned from living in Munich, Germany where she facilitated a lecture series and coaching for the Amerikahaus and Bavarian International School. During her time abroad, Dana achieved TESOL and Google for Education (GAFE) certifications which are foundational elements of her business coaching practice for non-native English-speaking executives. In addition to a being a seasoned instructor with 18+ years of progressive experience in the classroom and professional development; Dana also has a corporate background with 20 years in media and advertising.

Dana began her career with Active Media Services, Inc. in 1994 in the local broadcast (tv/radio) group as an assistant media buyer and account coordinator. Throughout her tenure with Active Media, Dana took on new roles and progressive responsibilities to foster business growth and innovation as well as developing broader positions in the media marketplace. Most notably, Dana was charged with launching the digital media department in 1999. The successful growth of this division was followed by assignments in account management and the media leadership team.
